A turnkey solution with 18,000 sqm of space

Heiden, 12/8/2010. Designing a possible solution for process optimisation should be created by the new construction of an economical warehouse and logistics centre. Hörr & Hörr Immobilien GmbH & Co. KG is relying on Brüninghoff’s proven competencies to carry out this construction project.

The construction measures include developing and completing an automatic high-rack warehouse with an incoming goods area in the front that provides 2,100 sqm of picking space. An adjoining two-story office building will house a separate administration office and a customer area. In addition, an area measuring approx. 10,300 sqm will include parking spaces and vehicle access that can be used for overall logistics as well as heavy goods vehicle traffic.

After providing the engineering and construction services, Brüninghoff will manufacture project-specific steel elements and reinforced concrete parts in its own production facilities, deliver and assemble them into one unit on site. The use of high-quality construction materials and a variety of colours and wall profiles gives the structure an unusual, one-of-a-kind appearance. This turnkey project, with a footprint of approximately 36,000 sqm, will be completed within a year and a half.
